Blue/Duck egg blue large stoneware bowl
This exquisite bowl is adorned with a soft duck egg blue outer glaze and pale blue inner glaze, beautifully complemented by a raw, contrasting fired clay rim.
Created in the neolithic style of pressing chunks of clay into a mould, letting the clay set, building up layers to make its final shape. The artists’ finger and tool marks are left in the clay, setting the methods in stone, telling the unique story of its creation. Introducing a stunning piece of craftsmanship: our hand-pressed ceramic stoneware bowl.
Inspired by traditional Neolithic techniques, each bowl is created by pressing chunks of clay into a mould, allowing it to set before carefully building up layers to achieve its final form. The artist’s finger and tool marks remain visible in the clay, adding a unique touch and telling the story of its creation. This bowl has marks and cracks that emphasise its rustic charm.
Dimensions are: 9.5cm tall x 24.5cm diameter
