1. What kind of artwork can I purchase using Own Art?
Own Art loans are designed for works created by living artists, priced between £250 and £5,000. This includes original pieces as well as limited editions (up to 150 in the edition).
2. Is Own Art available outside the UK?
The scheme is only available to UK residents aged 18 and over (subject to a successful application). Sadly, customers outside the UK cannot apply.
3. Am I eligible if I’m a student or currently not working?
To qualify, you need to be employed or self-employed for at least 16 hours per week. Students or those who are unemployed unfortunately won’t meet the criteria for an Own Art loan.
4. Can I use Own Art to buy more than one piece?
Yes — provided each artwork meets the scheme’s eligibility, you can combine several purchases into one Own Art agreement, up to a total of £5,000.
5. When will I receive my artwork after applying?
Once your finance application is approved, we’ll process your order straight away. Delivery times depend on the artwork and can be found in our Delivery Information in our Terms and Conditions.
