Steve Robinson

Steve is a glass artist with over 20 years of experience specialising in glass enamels, which he kiln fires into glass using a variety of techniques to create vibrant and original glass artworks - including sculptural glass art pieces, glass wall art, glass tealight curves featuring trees, ferns and sea reef scenes. Glass is Steve Robinson’s passion. He is drawn by the visual appeal of glass in the combination of colour, transparency, light, air and texture. Steve Robinson’s large, sculptural, glass, waveform bowls look stunning as a centrepiece, the layers and bubbles within the glass create a delightful display and shimmer and shine under different lighting conditions. His glass, wall art creates stunning original, glass wall art features in the home. Steve Robinson is inspired by the ocean and aquatic themes, my glass wall art designs are full of movement, colour and tactile textures.Steve Robinson states: “The practical appeal lies in the diverse creations possible - from functional to ornamental pieces, be they abstract or figurative. In my own work I am seeking to create beautiful, purposeful and original pieces, whilst exploring and challenging the technical limits of glass as a creative medium.”
