Cracked Neolithic Pot

This exquisite Neolithic-style vessel is created through a meticulous process of pressing chunks of clay into a mould, allowing the material to set and build up layers to form its final shape. Showcasing the distinctive finger and tool marks of the artist, adding a personal touch to the creation.

Made from clay sourced in Devon and mixed with other natural materials, this vessel is fired in a pit and carefully left underground to cool, ensuring an authentic finish. After excavation, the piece is cleaned and enhanced with a museum-quality wax to preserve its stunning colouration.

Owning this vessel means possessing a timeless artefact that reflects tradition and artistry. Perfect for display, it serves as a connection to our ancient past and a conversation starter in any setting.

Dimensions are: 16.5cm x 16cm
