Medium Geometic Moorland pot

Introduce a bold, contemporary statement piece to your interior with this striking, handmade earthenware ceramic cylinder pot by Devon artisan Maggie Bowdon, available for your collection on the Mooch Art & Makers website. Demonstrating a masterful blend of graphic modernism and organic texture, this wide vessel features a beautifully speckled, off-white glazed body that acts as a canvas for dramatic, painterly intervention. A powerful, dark charcoal and olive-toned slip stroke sweeps across one side, dynamically cut through by thin, sharp, incised vertical and intersecting lines that evoke architectural grids or winter branches. True to Maggie Bowdon’s signature Devon Countryside style, a subtle, dark-glazed rectangular detail anchors the bottom edge of the pot, adding an unexpected geometric touch. Perfect as a standalone sculptural element or for creating a curated display with other natural landscape vessels, this piece beautifully reflects the raw, artistic essence of handmade Devon pottery.
