Moorland Landscape Pot

Embrace the raw, moody atmosphere of the Dartmoor landscape with this striking, handmade earthenware ceramic cylinder pot by Devon-based artisan Maggie Bowdon. Showcasing a completely different facet of her natural inspiration, this tactile vessel trades delicate flora for a deeply layered, earth-toned design featuring horizontal bands of rich forest greens, mossy ochres, and a central moss-green textured strip. The organic, painterly brushstrokes are beautifully offset by a fine, dark wire-like line wrapped dynamically around the upper and lower sections, adding a graphic, contemporary edge to the rustic form. Set against a weathered stone backdrop that anchors its local origins, this atmospheric pot makes a powerful architectural statement whether displayed solo, alongside her botanical work, or holding a simple selection of grasses or blooming stems.
